Re: with a 600 dollar roll, 25 nl or short stacked 50 nl?
[ QUOTE ]
LINK YO IMO the only way to defend shortstacking if you are a player who normally doesn't have an edge, and also have no intention of improving as a player. I'm convinced you will realize this if you read the post I linked you to. [/ QUOTE ] Thank you, I might take a few shots here and there, that link is pretty sweet. |

Re: with a 600 dollar roll, 25 nl or short stacked 50 nl?
Damn,
I bet I've lost $600 playing $50NL in a couple days before, and I'm a winning player at that level. Play 10K hands at $25NL a day until you have 25 buy-ins for $50NL. You might even be able to BR $50NL in one day......... I think you will make more money by playing $25 buy-ins at $25NL than you will be able to by buying in for $30 at $50NL. |

Re: with a 600 dollar roll, 25 nl or short stacked 50 nl?
I agree you should stay at 25NL, and if you are not going to be patient enough to stick to certain guidelines such as 20 FULL buy ins, then there is no point in attempting to make money. Downswings can really be a bitch, its nice to have some back up

Never shortstack. [/ QUOTE ] There's nothing worse than hitting your juiciest hand of the day and being short. |
