Building bankroll off microstakes

There are multiple posters on this site who have built bankrolls in the mid 5 figures and above from modest deposits (like the $50 mentioned).

I busted down to $13 several months ago. Did not reload and have since rebuilt to over 5k. A lot of work but worth the effort. I would consider myself a much better player for it.
