This is for the math guys:

I understand that it's "all one big session" and that as long has we have an edge in a particular game we should never have a "as soon as I am up $X I'm getting up mentality." For the sake of argument, would there be a way to figure out the reliability of walking away a winner with $X, based on your SD and EV/HR for a ring game?

[/ QUOTE ]I'm no hardcore math guy but I'm confident the answer is, "yes" with a bunch of stuff you'd assume that would remain constant. that being said, what's the practical application of this?

In this 2-20 spread limit game I play, it seems like I hit +$200-$240 every session. But where I end up varies greatly on either side of that number. I am trying to figure out if this is a real phenomenon or a function of small sample size/selective memory.
