[ QUOTE ]
Let me preface this buy saying that I'm not really referring to the whole Harrah's (or whoever they are now) ownership, or even the stupid BBJ...

I often see people on this forum saying that they don't like Caesars because the quality of play is tough, tight, etc... I recently moved here, and have been hitting Caesars 1/2 $500 game a lot, and I really really don't see that much of a play difference between there and most other 1/2 rooms, except obv that you can instantly make it a deeper game against players that have absolutely no idea how to play a deepstacked game (I've seen the ole "$12 PF, 3 callers, $15 on the flop, $20 on the turn" line enough times to give me a chubby...). I mean, am I just lookin at a skewed sample that'll eventually shallow out, have the games gotten better... Am I too drunk to notice how tight everyone else is...?

[/ QUOTE ]

the reason people hate on rooms so much is b/c they play there once and think they know what the [censored] their talking about. They don't give rooms a chance, they play once, usually lose, and then say, [censored] this that room sucks.

people are just completely full of [censored]

Ceasars is a nice clean room with good management and a wide variety of games and tournies...people are just babies

The only problem I have is the ancient cocktail waitresses. I've seem some pushing 70 in skimpy skirts. Not good.

[/ QUOTE ]

Or pushing 250.

The first couple times I went there I liked it. The last couple, not so much. The games sucked, and in the tournament, there was some sort of screwup at one of the other tables, so they stopped play but not the clock. I think we lost almost 4 minutes with the blinds at 500/1000.

Wynn has the best though. It's hard to concentrate on the game when they come around. HOT!!!

Thank you for that thoughtful analysis. For the record, the one time I played there, I won. Also, no matter how many times I play there, it isn't gonna change that fact that the room is down a long hallway completely invisible to the rest of the casino. Sports photos on the wall are not going to make it feel any less dull and secluded.

One of the reasons I like the room. Absolutely no clanging of slots and no clouds of smoke. It's all about the poker.

Dunno if the bbj has changed anything. I like Caesars room. Don't much care for the parking situation, as it's a two day trip. No, MVP, I will not valet park. sheesh
