Default Question about the getting the poker rate

My friends and I want to go to Vegas. I am the only one in the group that plays poker. Obviously it would be cheaper to get a room under the hotel's poker rate than their normal rates.

I have never gotten a poker rate before so I have a few questions:

1. Can multiple people stay in a room under a poker rate?

1a. Do you have to be honest that multiple people are staying in the room? Obviously I could just get the rate, ask for multiple keys and move on without letting them know, but I don't want to do this if it's not necessary.

2. Can you get double beds under a poker rate?

Thanks for looking

So to be clear, I can get the poker rate at the Wynn for $199 (Weekend rate according to All Vegas Poker) and just say I want 2 beds and 4 adults are staying there and it will still be $199?

Thanks again

Call them first. If it's like most weekends you won't get that rate. You'll probably get a discount, but not to 199.

I was more speaking in general, we don't specifically know where we are going to stay, I was just trying to use the Wynn as an example.

Book the room at Caesars regular rate, go play poker for 8 hours for each day you are staying and before you check out ask for the poker rate make sure you have a Total Rewards card.
week days $119
weekends $199
make sure when you book the room is not over $400 if the room is over $400 you can't get the poker rate

They don't care how many people are in the room, after all it is ONE room you want discounted.

The poker rate at the Wynn is $129/$199 weekdays/weekends, just put in your 6 hours a day and all is well. You don't need to worry about anything else. BTW, you call the poker room to make the reservation; Deneesha(sp?) handles that. I think the Mirage is the same rate, but the room has been hurting lately. The Bellagio is about $20 more a night, but many weekends, based upon occupancy, the rate could be substatially higher.
