Default Nl 100 oddly played JJ hand

Villain 43/20/6 over small sample on the session. No reads except his timing on his bets were very fast. I thought of leading on the flop but im trying to mix my play up and not the flop I wanted to see.
I assume if i call him down to the river i have to call there, but should i have found a fold. His betting speed made me think he was bluffing

When you 3 bet, like 99% of the time you should follow it up with a bet. "Mixing it up" is a bad excuse not to c-bet this flop. ESPECIALLY if your gonna check-call down on all streets.

Check/fold.

Such an ugly flop. If you c-bet here for ~$20 and he pushes for ~25 you really don't have the odds for calling since your OESD aren't clean because of the flush draw.

If he's betting here, you are only beating a pair of tens.

what about his bet sizing? 9 and 13 into much larger pots? I could have found a check fold with a big flop bet but it seemed he was stabbing with his small bets

Why not? We need 23ish equity to call his AI. Against a LAGy short stacked villain it's not impossible.

Im sure i didnt play the hand optimal here, but does the bet sizing not seem odd to anyone else. Like, he senses im weak from my check, so he will just bet a little to get me to fold?

Make it $18 preflop, c/f this flop. I think it isn't very likely he's bluffing here, he's betting to suck you in.

I make it 16 preflop and because of his stack make a standard c-bet of ~30. If he pushes it's like 10 more and an easy call (or just set him in on the flop). I am sure he folds to more then half of the c-bets, thus making it a profitable play. We also still have about 20-30% equity if he calls (maybe more if he has a lower pair with a heart).
