Have you Yanks fans read this article at hard ball times?

http://www.hardballtimes.com/main/ar...-world-series/

It seems way too complicated to ever happen, but there are some decent thoughts in there I suppose.

good article though I find it hard to believe we could get Santana that cheap

sigh. damon for crede seems to be picking up traction

do we really want a guy with a career OBP of .305 at third base?

why dont the yanks try to see if they can get tejada and put him at third?

[/ QUOTE ]

don't see that tejada thing happening.

i'd take crede for damon. it means that barry bonds could be a new york yankee, and i am all for that.

Ya clearing out the clutter in the Outfield makes sense even if Crede isn't a good 3rd baseman.

Why wouldn't the tejada thing happen...

what kind of trade would the marlins agree to where it would still make sense for us to get miggy...are they even interested in guys like melky and cano, or are they to old/expensive for the marlins at this point?

We're not getting Miggy, We're not getting Tejada, We're not getting Santana. We will need to trade either Hughes or Joba to get one of those and we're not going to do it.
