Hand 2 is easy call for me. After that I usually just play a nitty postflop style, ignoring entirely FE (i.e. i don't lead out at a bunch of dry flops as Leader suggested).

I also call worse stuff: any two above a 6, any suited, etc.--its hard to pass up an opportunity to play against 2 bad, passive players.

Hand 1 is a close fold. Make it T8o and i probably call (not sure thats good tho).

Ty for responses guys.

I didnt play the hands. They are from a DC coaching vid played by DeathDonkey.

I thought both those calls were close which DD also says himself.

FWIW I call both

EDIT: And DD actually plays fairly tight otherwise. He is by no means a huge LAG - judging from the vids that is.

I am interested in how you players judge your edge when it comes to situations like these.
To have postflopp edge do you feel you need to know the table, or do you go by your general interpretation of the level you`re at compared to how good you perceive yourself and adjust if appropriate?

Hand 1 is nearly forced to be played fit or fold, and there is not much going for the hand other then pot odds. I fold.

Hand 2: you are not getting 5:1 on average here really, imo this is a muck.

On a side note, where do you find 5/10 with 1:2 blind structure?
