Actually another consideration is that villain is ahead on the flop w/something like K8, and he "peels" and plans on folding the turn UI. Another good reason to bet again.

I think it changes the hand alot if you bet the turn and are raised or called there. It's a very different decision than calling after checking.

Then, how often do I lose an extra BB on the river by being OOP and having to pay off two pair hands?

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually bet/fold c/f is an option.

[/ QUOTE ]

Bet/fold is not an option. Even ultra-conservatively I have 6 outs and am getting 7:1 after he raises.

(By the way, I'm not particularly thrilled about betting a KQT river, and if I did bet, I would have to bet-fold).

Who says you need to bet Q or T river? I know they imporved you. But to be honest I think there is more value in c/c as he is gonna check behind a bunch of marginal hands that beats you.

What I meant was that AK on an KQTxx board isn't super-fantastic against a coldcaller with at least some hand selection. Also, Q/T doesn't improve my hand at all.

Aaron. Dunno if the table was short or if it was a 6max.

[/ QUOTE ]

6-max.

Ya true. Sorry, you of course have the gut as well.

I stand by my bet advice tho as you wont get raised that much.

IMO b/c > c/c >>>>>> c/f.

If you c/c the turn you should prolly c/f river UI

If you bet the turn I like c/c more on the river.

FWIW. I am taking this one to SD almost 100% against bad players. Nits or LAGs, whatever... see you at SD

Do you take all your AK UI HU to showdown?

Nope

I often fold a pair even

Not HU tho

I am also folding if there is only 1 kind of draw that villain can have and that draw fills up

Say I get c/r on a Q63 flop and a 5 turns.. If up against an imaginative player then I fold.
