i trust you, i'm just saying it would be helpful if you did that earlier

[/ QUOTE ]

I know...I'm just really bad at wagering early...I talk myself in and out of stuff alot. Also I got pretty tanked last night so my research for today is playing catchup.

Another late one unfortunately:

UNC -34 5u

Think that's prob it for today barring halftimes.

has anyone looked at UVA +7 at Arizona. Arizona being in a bit of disarray right now. read the yahoo preview you will see.....UVA strong in the paint and Arizona very deficient there.

[/ QUOTE ]

Good win for my Hoos, but I wouldn't trust Yahoo previews if they said this, we are weak inside and have a ton of injuries to big men on top of it.

Bonnies decide to play 5 mins and win by 7...bleh.

Adding 5u to UNC -11.5 2H. UNC by 40+.

UVA shot the lights out in the first half and had to absorb a really strong cats run in the second. of course i was really impressed with singletary but you are right about the big men, they are sub-average for the ACC. If this game was played again I would take Arizona

Dude, Roy W is not Belicheat. Relax. Players 10-16 got 25 minutes on the floor.

They win by 50 if Iona doesn't have the greatest half of basketball they're going to play this season. I stand by the bet. They hit like 7 3s I think in the 2H.

YTD: 40-25-0 +35.33u

Kind of an impulse play to start the day:
Charlotte 1H -4 3u

Don't really like today's card but will be monitoring halves.

OMG, team that's down 35 started chucking up 3s...and some of the scrappy white /[brown/green/tan/olive/mocha] kids can shoot from 19'9"! No wai!!

Hint: It's a lot easier to shoot a 3, or get an open look over the 14th guy on the team than Ginyard and Green.

Iona made 25 baskets and 9 were 3s, this is standard in a blowout. In fact, if they hadn't missed 7 FTs, you'dve lost both bets. Take away a 3 and add back some FTs, etc, etc.

Glad you won overall.

I understand what you're saying but those 5 foot white kids didn't come in until 2 mins left in the game. Ginyard, Frasor, Stephenson were all still on the floor in the 2H.

I'll try again. Players 10-16 got 25 minutes on the floor.

None of the 3 you mentioned are among the bottom 7 players on Carolina. MG is 5/6, Frasor is 7, Stephenson is #3 PF/C on the team. Graves, Copeland and Thomas aren't defensive stalwarts, and they aren't the 5'0" scrubs either.

Not being able to admit you make the occasional bad bet is a bad sign for any 'capper. Scrubs played 25% of the 2nd half for Carolina. This was very predictable. Iona was bound to have some wide-open, if not totally unguarded shots, and a decent % of them are bound to go in.

Believe me, no one would be happier than me if UNC won every game by 50+. Roy W is NOT going to run it up at home on a rookie coach from Iona.
