Default CashmanBrian post

I moved it here after reading just a couple of sentences to review further. I'm going to want specific direction from Mat before moving it back to MTT or another forum.

That post makes me want to start my own site like this to undercut cashmanbrian. I had PM'd Mat telling him 2p2 should do it, but it wouldnt be legal I guess, so someone from the 2p2 community should end this guy's monopoly and start it up and do it for 50% of the profits.

I think we've eaten into their profits quite a bit through the forum. I wonder how many W$/T$ have been sold through your postings.

But in the end, that post probably just doesn't belong at 2+2. Too many issues that it brings up and I'm sure it would lead to some kind of business battle between the two of them fought through 2+2.

I don't think you would need to bother with that just setup a double auction (as you do in MTT) and charge a small fee per transaction, or not if you really want to have him lose his monopolistic power. It's very strange because in theory it should be impossible for anyone to have market power in this situation.

I haven't heard from Mat yet but does anybody think the CashmanBrian post should be moved back into the public forums. If so, any edits and where should it be moved? I personally do not think it belongs. It's one thing if it's a member complaining about someone's services but I don't think 2+2 should be in the middle of a business dispute.

Lloyd,

If you read thru the IM conversation... it kind of makes it clear that the purpose of his post is to generate more business, by generating more awareness of his sites existence.

This should be treated as affiliate spam, imo.

Neither do I, for the reasons both you and Sniper have mentioned.

I would also be curious as to how many have been sold throughout the 3 versions of marketplace.

I've told him it won't be moved back into the forums and to not make a similar post based on the reasons given in this thread. It seemed like a no-brainer to me but I didn't have time to read it in detail last night.
