Default Early in the MTT -- Creating a Big Pot, Then Folding?

What should I have done differently here?

i think that he hit his flush...the only thing that you could have done differently (in hindsight that is) is pushed all in on the turn...the pot was pretty decent at that point and he was either going to risk it all on a flush draw or he was folding and seeing another day...unlucky is all..

on the other hand...he could have just had AQ and outplayed you...but we will never know [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Bet t100 preflop, bet t300 on flop, push turn, as played I call and say "OMG DONK" when I see his Ah8h

I would have raised more pf and pushed the turn. As played there is no way I am folding on the river. You have already committed half of your stack. He probably has the flush but he could also have a Q. I call on the river..
