some fish evolve into air breathing land animals. These are known as donkeys. Other than the fact that they now have lungs instead of gills, nothing has changed.

Donkey=Fish=$$$

They're all the same, players calling raises with weak hands, not folding cuz they have an underpair to the board, three to a flush. You've seen the story from the other posts, just players who aren't good. I don't ever call anyone a donkey really, I stick with the fishies. Although from my experience, Donkey is usually much more derogatory. Someone will see a real fishy game, and when a fish does what they're supposed to, play bad cards, but happens to win, now all of a sudden it's, "Omg you [censored] donkey!!!!"

When will we learn to embrace the variance and ensure the fish have a fun game? Please start being kind to the fish/evolved air breathing animals.

I got called a donkey today by some guy I had dominated from the beginning, but since I was playing nothing he got mad at me. He said "If you knew I had nothing how come you never raised." I never raised him because he was bluffing all his money off to me. Why would I raise. That would just make him want to fold.

I think most people who call others donkeys are actually donkeys themselves. Like this guy... why did he raise over the top of me, and then raise on the turn and the river with nothing in his hand. Yet I am the donkey?

In donkey world, it might take one to know one.

See that is exactly what I did and why the guy thought I was a donkey. Yet I KNEW he did not have anything. He was full of crap. And I was right. So does that make me a donkey, or a genius.

Sometimes you have to call people who are playing crap cards and raising all the time.
