stop reading the books and start putting in tons of hands, spend every waking hour thinking about poker strategy and every sleeping hour dreaming up nonsensical poker situations in a repeating pattern which will drive you insane as the cards flit frustratingly around your mind, learn to piss in a bottle and develop the ability to microwave ready meals without timing out on 19 tables while you dash from kitchen to pc, lose contact with all your acquaintances as you rack up massive amounts of dough while cockslapping any concept of a regular circadian rhythm and play while drunk a handful of times each month so you can take high stakes shots without fear...

If a million monkeys, write on a million typewriters eventually one of them writes something decent.

Similary for donkament pros, if a million people keep flipping $1 eventually someone has a $1,000,000.

The people who get to the top fast are probably better than most others, but it needs a hell of a lot of luck imo.

I remember when I was reading about the study of guitar and this great master guitar player, he said there have been a lot of great players but after a few years they cant play any more becauase their playing position and hand movement was not right it was under strain and their hands, their muscles got damaged untill it was painfull to play.

What a shame that is.

Playing and pissing in a bottle, that does not sound good to me it sounds like a bad path.

If you took any one of the guys who did really well and made it, who's to say they would not do it again?

Has not that jesus.f gone from zero from a freeroll to 10k through good bank roll management?

The post with the bullet points is near the mark, I think its better to play and improve and get it right and take a few years then if you take a fresh smart kid with too many tft pannels and soft drinks.

Brain.T talked about it finally clicking into place, I think you have to pull yourself out of your bad game, even your bad way of living and bring it on, that coupled with good bankroll management has to be key.

... go ahead
