These two factors are irrelevant to my hand's relative strength vs. the villains 3betting range. I don't think postflop AF has anything to do with PF looseness (although i'm not 100% certain) . They are both seperate stats...

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, I agree stats tell us very little about a players PF 3-betting range. I think PFR stats can only give us a small indication.

However, in this hand I think his AF can indicate that he might not be as strong as he appears when he fires two contiuation bets postflop against a small field when checked to...

Your reasoning seems good to me Haupt. I think its a close decision.

I don't think the possibility of him having the same hand should sway us into calling down both streets.

[/ QUOTE ]

Nor do I. The possibility of him having a worse hand (I think this is slightly more likely than you think it is) or the same hand makes me think it might be a call situation.

Edit: Well I suppose the possiblity of us having the same cards is 'swaying' me in a sense. However, I'm putting very little weight on it. I think this is okay. We would surely call down (or raise) if we could see his cards...

I think calling with the attention of check/folding the river should be considered. If we assume we have 4 clean out villain only needs to check behind on the river a little more than 2% with a worse hand for it to be profitable.

Is KQ in his range? It would probably be in mine depending. A smaller PP such as 88 or 99 might also be in the realm of remote possibility if he thinks he's got a read. I'm not sure if this matters, but it might be worth pondering.

Yes, what might his read be of you and the limper? Is A-10s possible?

w/o doing the math I think we might have a profitable call on the turn if we add our chop equity with another AQ to our 4 outs on the gutterball.

this plus the fact that the river checks through a portion of the time. call, reassess on the end.

If we call down and split, we'll have invested 2BB to win 4BB and change, correct?

I think this is a great fold. I wouldn't mind a fold on the flop either seeing that it is 2 toned. Disagree?
