I forgot to update this.

He told me he had two pair, I asked if he rivered it I said yes.

He replied "prolly was best the whole time, should've checked river." I didn't say anything, but I definitely wasn't calling here, but was curious to know if having an Ace here should change my fold into a call.

FWIW I thought him pushing 2 pair here was pretty bad.

I think K8. I bet flop bc he'll fold without a draw which he gives up on turn unless it's a combo draw, he'll raise an ace or better and maybe call a street and fold to a double with an 8 or 6. I think a cbet was in order and the double barrel justified, especially since I have rarely been caught bluffing against him.
