Default House OKs timetable

Well I assume this will be vetoed by Bush. But they want to get troops out by fall 2008. Just voted on a couple of minutes ago.

Edit to add my personal response,

I am very much against the war. My personal preference is a quick and timely pull out of US forces in Iraq where we can quickly transfer power to the Iraqis. This is a good step even though I think Bush will veto this. At least the democrats are standing up as at least moderately anti-war.

This bill, as you would assume, is chock full of pork barrel spending. Peanut subsidies and other stuff is in there as emergency war time appropriations.

My favorite part:

"an angry Bush accused Democrats of staging nothing more than political theater ......Joined at the White House by veterans and service family members, Bush said"

HAHAHAHA, Bush it must be hard still finding service family members to join you for these press conferences. What a joke. I think Bush is so far out of touch with service member families, its unreal.
