Default Political Commentary Through Music Video

I thought this might an interesting political discussion that might be a little different than what is commonly discussed on this board.

Here are two videos by the band Rise Against. Obviously both of them are very political in their nature. I think that when bands are able to do something like this well it is very powerful. Another instance of social/political commentary would be Sarah McLachlan's video World On Fire.

Another well done video that gets people thinking about various political issues that they may not have thought of in the first play. Or it gives a graphic representation of something that may have only been explained to the viewer previously in words.

I was wondering what your guys thoughts are on these efforts from artists. Is it worth their time? Is it a joke to you? If you enjoy this type of thing, what are some of your favorite political messages portrayed in this type of medium?
