Wizards will represent East and Durant will lead league in scoring...both not listed.

If only there was a way to bet against your crazy predictions

LOL...basic Assani cliff notes:

When I'm serious I'll give long and detailed reasoning and debate for hours with anyone who disagrees.

When I'm not I'll just post one line and then walk away.

Celtics, Bulls, Bullets
Spurs (although it's basically a coinflip with Mavs), Nuggets (I think they have a higher ceiling than the Jazz with a full year of Melo), Suns

Spurs over Bulls final.
MVP: KG
ROY: KD
Scoring: KB (sensing a theme?)

Can't wait till the season starts.

[/ QUOTE ]

Concur with all except MVP - Boston won't win enough games regular season for KG to be a frontrunner. It should come from the Nash/Duncan duo - same as the last few years.

[/ QUOTE ]

I see no reason why BOS can't win a bunch of games playing in that division. I picked them to win the division afterall (which you agreed with??).

I think Duncan (big guy) and Kobe (wing) are the best players in the league, but voters aren't gonna give TD a 3rd MVP unless it's impossible not to, and Kobe's team is gonna kill him again. Nash will have the same issues as TD, so I think KG steps into the opening with a big season under the spotlight.

[/ QUOTE ]

That does make a lot of sense to me. I could also see Gilbert having a huge year. If they stay healthy Houston could have a great record and Yao could contend too. And of course Lebron and Kobe are always in the mix.

As far as the west goes, if grant hill and amare are healthy it will be the suns

[/ QUOTE ]

the suns success will not be predicated upon grant hill. he is playing the role of a 7th/8th man. raja, barbosa, diaw, are all much more integral to the suns success.

[/ QUOTE ]

partly disagree, Hill needs to have some impact because the Suns already lost a good piece in Thomas. Raja will have his impact, as will Barbosa. I expect Diaw to continue to struggle when playing with Amare.

Time for a bold prediction. Suns/Celtics will be the highest rated nba finals of all time.

considering the suns' rotation is like 7 deep, yeah, hill's quite important.
