The hate against OP's decision to buy brand new cd's is stupid. Most of this stuff can be purchased with like $10 and such a nice pile of cd's bought with five hundo isn't that big if youre not a high school student who plays NL10 for a living.

I always buy my records new if theyre available. I do buy used ones too but some of those have been in bad shape. Buying new cd's is also a lot more easier, you just click what you want or select it from your local music store and take it home with you. In case you want to buy everything used you have to use some efforts in finding all that.

Vinyls are a different thing, you cant get everything new and most of the good material was made in the 60's and 70's.
