Default NL25 TT Float/Value Call? -> What to do on turn?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

BB ($37.95)
UTG ($14.40)
MP ($31.40)
CO ($27)
Hero ($35.90)
SB ($26.70)

Preflop: Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG raises to $1, 2 folds, Hero calls $1, 2 folds.

Flop: ($2.35) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG bets $1, Hero calls $1.

Turn: ($4.35) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero ???

Villain is 55/18/1.40 over round about 150 hands. No other reads.

The flop call was based on my assumption, that he would slow down with AQ, AJ or so. But I failed to think about what I should do if this case happens: Bet for protection/as a bluff or check to induce a bluff?

I check behind for pot control and to induce bluff on the river. I might fold the river if another overcard comes up and he makes a value-bet.

I bet here and fold to a raise or donk on the river.

3-bet pf. TT on the button is deffinately good enough.

I bet the turn, and will probablly check behind if he checks the river to me. I think JJ and QQ are as likely as 88 and 99.

EDIT: Sorry - not specifically 99. Didnt see it would make a set. 77 instead.

Preflop: Call - Reraising is an option you'll be reraising for value, hoewver even in position it will make it alot harder to play. Increased pot size, plenty of overcards and an aggressive opponent. This is why i'd suggest calling.

FlopCall.

Turn Bet $3, if called river would be a thin value bet or a check behind - Its your choice. Check behind its its a heart or another OC. Value betting takes a good read
