Default Xbox 360

I've played it once or twice at my friends house when we were drinking but it didn't seem anything different than I've ever seen before does it make a huge difference on hdtv instead of ''normal'' tv.

Makes a HUGE difference. HD = twice the resolution and 360 games are built for 16:9 aspect ratio (wide screen) making it look even worse on a normal tv which is usually 4:3.

Of course it's much better on hdtv, but how could you say it was nothing special on normal tv? What are you comparing it too, computer games? Even on normal tv the graphics are still light years ahead of regular xbox and ps2.

Depends a lot on the game your playing as well, some games just aren't going to show you much. Also yes, a HD helps a huge amount.

At least you'll be able to read the text in menus. It does not look pretty on standard definition.

Agreed. I bought my 360 before I bought my HDTV. I couldn't read the stats screen on NCAA 2k7 on my regular TV.

But even on the regular TV, it looked better than my PS2 (except I could read the menus on all PS2 games).
