Aces are overrated in omaha
They sure suck don't they! This covers a 6 month period.
I've split my hands up into pocket pairs, so KK99 would only come in the KK section. Hands like AAA3 are not included, only pocket pairs. These figures are just for Omaha hi. The pocket tens thing probably wasn't helped by this hand... http://www.pokerhand.org/?379784 |

I see why it's fairly easy to put you on aces.

Re: Aces are overrated in omaha
ORLY?
I've been dealt AA 3000 times out of 120,000 hands which I raised around 2100 of them. My stats for raising preflop 9 handed are 9% of all hands, so that's 10800 hands. So if I raise preflop, I have AA 20% of the time. Care to explain how it's easy to put me on AA? |

Why do you only have a 98% VP$IP with the PF nutz?

Re: Aces are overrated in omaha
Aye, it's safe to say 9 handed, 11% of the time I get AA, it is in the big blind. So my raise preflop with AA from the big blind would be around 80% (when nobody has raised preflop).

Did you just fail to read ANYTHING I just said? Go back, read it, then get back to me.

Did you just fail to read ANYTHING I just said? Go back, read it, then get back to me. [/ QUOTE ] Oh I read what you wrote. So you raise preflop in 7th position, someone on button calls. Which flop is button most afraid of? A92 J62 942 Once you search deep into your soul, you'll realize that proper application of game theory toward playing poker will dictate that you raise less frequently with AA and more often with other pairs to randomize your play. Sure you will have to play more after the flop, but you are a good enough player to beat people on the flop and turn. |
