if afterlife, awake.

if no afterlife, asleep.

All, how much of this influences your decision? This is my reasoning.

This seems the wrong way around to me.

Afterlife - who gives a [censored]
No afterlife - definitely awake

I'll probably die a violent death so I'm sure I'll be awake.

Awake. Where's the fun in being asleep? Don't you guys want to know what happens, even if it's just for that instant?

Awake. I don't believe in any sort of afterlife so there's nothing better I'd be going to. Plus I am curious as hell as to what it would feel like.

Although given you don't really experience the moment of going to sleep, maybe death is like that. You feel kinda [censored], close your eyes and BLAMMO! Valhalla (or not).

I want to die in my sleep, peacefully, like my grandfather.

Not like the other three people in the car he was driving....they were screaming like crazy.

Thanks, I'll be here all week - try the fish.

What's more awesome, that you remembered this "Deep Thoughts" moment or that someone with two posts beat you to it?

Me, I'll take awake. A man's gotta face his fears, in life and in death.
