If Manuel comes back next year, i fully will be expecting the same shizz and will not watch any games. They better not use all their injuries for excuses and bring him back.

Anyone know the word of what they plan on doing in regards to him?

I am firmly of the opinion that he is not the problem. You can't blame him for using crap relievers when all he has is crap relievers.

By most accounts, the players love Manuel and he will be back. Hopefully, they bring in someone to whisper in his ear what to do tactically.

And agreed with Bremen, it's not Manuel's fault that his bullpen sucks. It's not like he has three stud relievers and he stubbornly uses Gordon anyway.

Isnt Gordon supposedly still hurt with a tear somewhere in his arm? At least this is what i believed i heard on on the postgame. I agree the bullpen is horrible but what was the point of bringing him in, just because he "needs work"?

I also have to say i have never seen a manager bring in a pinch runner after a batter has already seen 3 pitches, 2 outs(not sure if 2 or 1) in extra innings like Manuel did earlier in the season. It is also impossible to listen to him speak.

I feel pretty let down by the posters in this thread in regards to yesterday's game. It's pretty hard for me to blame yesterday's loss on Manuel, Myers, and even Gordon.

There was all of one hard hit ball in the 8th and 9th innings, Diaz's game winner. 3 bloops that miraculously found space, 3 infield hits...That's Manuel's fault?

The only person who I can be even a little bit upset with after yesterday's game is Utley. Why the hell can he not make an accurate relay throw? Two runs in this series could have been cut down at the plate with accurate relays from Utley, including one to at least send yesterday's game to extra innings

The game can be partially blamed on many people, the person I dislike the most being Myers. He came into the game and looked like he was mad for being in, walked off the field on contact with the last hit, hes just a huge bitch. I hate myers so much as a person and player. Roberson shoulda caught the ball, but he sucks so that is to be expected. Who really cares though, hopefully they win their next 15 games, more realistically hopefully they have a good offseason.
