Cold Prevention
I've got that scratchy throat, don't wanna get off the couch feeling that means bad things coming healthwise. Anyone have any advice on how to improve my fate or am I screwed at this point?

Re: Cold Prevention
I dunno if this actually works, but everytime I feel a cold coming on I just sleep an extra couple hours that night. Before I started doing this I was pretty good at predicting colds a day early, so I think it works for me since I rarely get sick now after sleeping longer.

Re: Cold Prevention
I don't think it's widely available in the US yet, but Canadians know what I'm talkin' about:

There's been one study done, and it was inconclusive. One of pharmacolgy professors liked it, and I found it worked. I don't use it any longer though. Some people might find it works, if they are pill poppers. Just throwing it out there. |
