New Software Announcement – Smart Buddy,the universal poker buddy list

PokerPro please give explicit details of how to use the comma file to import into SmartBuddy for those of us who don't know how.(Like me)

here is a sample of what the text file should look like...

Sensor;Bob test Jones;GoodPlayer;this is a test of the notes import
Zatok;test name;rock;this is a test of the notes import


goto file>import from text
Select the .txt file to import
select group to import into
select delimiter that is used for seperation

now lets say you only have a text file with two items

Sensor;GoodPlayer
bobjones;Rock

check the box with name as item 1 and icon as item two.

The new alert feature is helpful, BUT it places the alerts smack in the middle of a 1600x1200 resolution screen. If your intent was for the popup to appear in the bottom-right, it's not happening (unless maybe the screen is set to 800x600).

It would also be helpful if there were an option to NOT alert us when people on the Stars list show up.

Finally, any way you can add the date and time our buddies last logged on? (Perhaps next to the greyed-out name when they are inactive?)

That's weird. The alert comes up on the bottom right for me with 1600 X 1200.

It doesn't work for me, even if I move the window. In fact, if I move the alert window below the taskbar this error is generated.



I use a separate nVidia video card instead of the built in card along with nVidia's control panel software. Perhaps it conflicts with SmartBuddy in some way but outside of that I don't know what the cause could be.

The alert popup box was designed to stay on the visible parts of the desktop as it would have little use outside of that area. If you would like to remove the alert popup just uncheck the box in the settings>preferences > alert section.

Well, again, I don't mind the alert box. I think I suggested it originally. I'm just trying to figure out why it has to appear smack in the middle of the screen each time.

We don’t know why yours is in the middle of the screen. If we will be able to reproduce it, we will definitely fix it.

Export/Import works perfectly. Could you add a feature that would allow us to extract players from the PT database based, say, on player types and import them into SmartBuddy automatically?
