Ouch. Next time you have to have a bypass, please do it when its not American Idol season.

Get well soon.

MH,

Is this for real? I never can tell when it's posts about Granny. If it is, congrats on the successful procedure and best wishes for staying healthy.

Yes, it's for real. He's home, feels like a horse kicked him, but thankfully back to serious business.

the survival rate 15 years post-op from a triple bypass is only 40%.

normally this would be scary, as i will only be 60 then. however, i think in my case i may have stolen a few extra years.

thanx for the well wishes all. as mike said, it is a literal kick in the chest as far as surgeries go, but hey, it's 6-12 weeks off from work on full-pay FMLA.

maybe i can actually read the idol forum now.

Granny,

Best wishes on a speedy recovery. I will say my prayers that you will be drawing social security in twenty years!

Sincerely,

Jim

At first glance with my dyslexic eyes, that read "the survival rate 15 years for a post-op tranie bypass is only 40%.". Too funny considering who Grannie is.

GM - was this planned, or an emergency? Did you experience an attack? What changes do you have to make in your lifestyle?
