PL vs NL
I've been playing in some Pot-Limit games every once in awhile just chasing around some really bad players. Other than the fact that you cant 3bet a little bit larger than pot oop, are there any differences between PL and NL I should know about? It seems like a bunch of the regulars in PL games cold call raises out of position with big pairs. Is there any reason for this?

Re: PL vs NL
to disguise the strength of their hands - tho reduces possible pot size on hand plus more players see the flop!

Re: PL vs NL
I think position is a lot more important in PL games against skilled opposition, but there you go.

Re: PL vs NL
Nope no other real differences. The regulars cold calling with big pairs oop is just them being fishy because its PL, and not much else.
You cant overbet semi-bluff as easily and you cant overbet to defend your made hand against a super-draw on the turn as easily (think your set vs. op's OESFD) |
