What's his attempt to steal? The higher it is, the smaller his range for an UTG raise.

my thinking on this is that his UTG opening is quite small. Im a 29.5/21.5 player and my UTG raise is much less than 18(i think). However when I see someone that is 40/22, I tend to see them as very aggro and more on the maniac side. Therefore, I would not be surprised if they capped this back at me with a mediocre holding, making my life more difficult. Hot and cold, 45% equity should be more than enough, but because of the times he will get out of line, choosing less than 44 is kinda tough. Therefore, if it is one the first times I have 3 bet him, I want to do it with some hand like KQo(and thats the only one on the list I'd do it with). Once I get an idea of how muhc he respects my 3 bets, I can see mixing ATo and KJo in there. The rest are kinda tough for me to 3 bet even against a 22 pfr.

For the last poll, I assumed your question meant what hands would you 3-bet most of the time. I checked A9o, A8s, QJs, KJo, but wouldn't raise those every time.

The last question needs an option for "none of the above". If this guy has a high WTSD or the blinds are a little loose, I'm not inclined to get in a pissing war with QJs. Against a CO or HJ open-raise, maybe. UTG, not so much.

Same... and maybe 55 in some special circumstances, but nowhere near the default.
