Default 25NL Flop top 2 pair

Hi guys. This is my first post here, so go easy on me.

I'd been playing semi-tight and opponent has been very loose and aggressive, raising and betting almost every flop. I have about $16 and opponent has about $22. I'm MP2 and villain is MP3

Preflop:
Hero: J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG folds, UTG+1 checks (just joined the table and posted), UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, Hero raises to $0.80, MP3 calls $0.80, CO folds, Button folds, SB folds, BB folds, UTG+1 folds

Flop: ($2.20 in pot)
J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero bets $2.20, MP3 calls $2.20

Turn: ($6.60 in pot)
T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Hero bets $3.00, MP3 raises to $10.00, Hero raises all in $12.35, MP3 calls $2.35

River: ($31.30)

My read was that the villain either had one pair and straight draw (like AJ or AQ), or a spade draw, or that he may have just been trying to push me out of the pot. Were any of my plays incorrect?

welcome to the forum. first i'd say if youre gonna raise this preflop you gotta make a bigger raise, at least $1 or $1.25 (4-5BB). with that being said i think this is fine. your read seems to indicate that he would do this with AQ, AJ, maybe KQ. or a flush draw.

Instead of raising, I would throw this hand away preflop.

So should I have either raised more or folded? Or should I just lean towards not playing it at all? That seems like it's a little bit too tight to me.

Any other suggestions?

I typically fold this preflop, I just don't want to play that easily dominated hand out of position.

The hand:
I think that it is very well possible that villain has KT, AQ, KQ, or (most likely) AT here, too. I find it hard to believe that he'll raise with AJ. Weirdly played AA-JJ (AA, KK being the most likely) are candidates, too.

Overall, I think this is a fold, although I hardly ever get myself to lay this down. The only hands you beat are AQ and KQ, though.
