Default The Well: El Diablo

Alright, aj asked me to do this, so here I am.

I'm gonna be gone for a few hours, but back tonight and up late. So put up your questions (6pm my time now) and I'll start answering them sometime around 10pm and be online for a few hours, then around all day tomorrow.

[ QUOTE ]
A stranger is being shown around a village that he has just become part of. He is shown a well and his guide says "On any day except Wednesday, you can shout any question down that well and you'll be told the answer" .

The man seems pretty impressed, and so he shouts down: Why not on Wednesday? and the voice from in the well shouts back: Because on Wednesday, it’s your day in the well .

Well this is my Wednesday in The Well which will consist of Wednesday and Thursday of this week.

You may ask me any question about whatever you like. I will answer to the best of my abilities if I choose to answer your question.

El D,

Many thanks for doing this.

You've been playing this game for longer than most HSNLers, and certainly longer than the vast bulk of SSNLers.

What primary thing(s) does a small-stakes player need to keep in mind to make it over the long haul? If we want to still be playing and winning in 10, 20 years?

Couple questions:

1. Do you play live? If so, at what types of limits?

2. What was the biggest hurdle for you when moving from small --> mid --> high stakes?

3. Best seafood in NYC? SF?

4. Favorite wine under $25?

El D if you can name one poker concept or revelation that once you grasped it it allowed you to take your game from average to good or from good to great.

1. What is the toughest NLHE game you have ever played in? Can you name and/or describe some of the players?

2. What poker players have you learned the most (about poker) from?

3. What do you think is better for building a thick and strong lower body: soccer or weight training?

Thanks for doing this...

Could you give your point of view on continuation bet. How does being in position or oop influence your decision. What villain do you cb more/less. Do you cb as much in multiway pot?
