Villain was relatively new to the table and I hadn't seen him do anything crazy.

I'd call the minraise and see the turn.
He could well be on a flush a draw, and it would be great if he hit it. It doesn't look like he's trying to protect a made hand, and if he is, you have odds to call anyway. He might be value minraising a flopped flush, but in that case, you'd rather see another [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] before putting in your money. You can always push the turn if you miss and think he has JT and you want him to fold. |

this looks fine to me, most likely hes on a straight draw/lower flush draw (possibly both) with some piece of the flop. your overcards are probably outs as well.
