Default 4_2_it in the Well

[ QUOTE ]
A stranger is being shown around a village that he has just become part of. He is shown a well and his guide says "On any day except Monday, you can shout any question down that well and you'll be told the answer" .

The man seems pretty impressed, and so he shouts down: Why not on Monday? and the voice from in the well shouts back: Because on Monday, it’s your day in the well .

[/ QUOTE ]

Well this is my day in The Well which will consist of Monday and parts of Tuesday of this week.

You may ask me any question about whatever you like. Whether it is about Life/SSNL/Poker/Sport/Music/Women or any other subject, I will answer to the best of my abilities.

I will be back in a hour or so to start.......

6-MAX SSNL QUESTIONS.

Suggestions on playing suited connectors, 1 gappers, 2 gappers in position @ SSNL if it's been...

A. Raised to you with no callers.
B. Raised to you with 1 or more callers.
C. Limped to you.
D. Folded to you.

What about early/middle position, fold most/all SCs due to being out of position?

Also, thoughts on raising 66 or less in any position? Better to limp? I feel like I'm wasting a raise since people don't fold anyhow and I'm not left with much, especially in a multiway pot.

Obviously most of this can vary depending on who your playing against, but I'd like some general guidelines.

Thanks!

why continuation bet?

The idea of raising and then continuation betting has come into my mind lately. You are risking 1/10th of your stack, so if you fail 10 or so times, you are pretty much stacked. To me it seems like a waste of money.

Also too, why cant I beat 100nl?

Who'd win in the classic theoretical fight - 1 horse sized duck Vrs 100 duck sized horses?

Whats the biggest downswing you have ever had (bb's)?

Who's the player in SSNL you'd least like to play HU?

Have you ever lied to your friends so that you could stay in and play poker instead of going out with them? - if yes, more than once?

4_2_it, first off I just wanted to mention I enjoy reading your posts, I think you provide very good insight to SSNL players. Thanks

Longest breakeven stretch?

If you played 25NL, what was your PTBB before moving up?

Current stakes you primarily play at? PTBB there?

Your on the button w/ no readsn and same size stacks as you do, UTG raised it, CO reraised, you have AKs, do you reraise, call, fold?

Bankroll management: I primarily 4 table, and yesterday I had gotten stacked twice within 60 hands, I had aces preflop and my stack went in before the flop, but they were cracked both times, anyhow I was feeling a little tilty, do you recommmend dropping a table or two during a session when this happens, or should I keep the playing 4 tables and work through it?

Thanks a lot

1. as a more "seasoned" (aka older :P ) person, what is your best general life advice to some of us younger posters?

2. im currently at NL$5 playing FR to grind my bankroll up. ive taken some shots at playing 6max but i feel pretty uncomfortable with all the aggression - sometimes it seems my stack is just getting blinded away. at what level do you think i should make the switch, and whats some advice you have for switching from FR to 6max?

3. whos the greatest guitarist in history?

4. whats your favorite band?

5. who do you think is currently the hottest female celebrity?
