AK 3 bet pot flops TPTK

Villian is 17.07/10.98/1.7 over 82 hands. I have a larger database on him but it's like 65 miles away. He seems to be a pretty solid TAG though.

hero had top or twp p. maybe thinks your on a flush draw and is punishing you...with jk?

its iffy. i have to say the number of times your ahead here and will take him down vs the number of times you got donked is worth the call.

i dunno about all the stats things. shisty would be a set. but who bets a set like a nutt, i almost always slow play/trap with them. especially when i know i got some one with top pair.

so i think he is with jk and afraid you drawing to a flush...so call??? results???

I have no problem shoving this preflop. I at least 4bet it. With TPTK in a 3bet pot in a steal-ish situation, I'm happy to get it all in. As played, call the turn.

Ah..I generally 4bet OOP and call with position.

I think absent a read best case is calling to a split...I think you can find a fold on the turn...I am not the least bit confident here...It feel so weak to fold...I just do not see a TAG playing this strong with a hand "we" beat...

I play AK the same way..Unless I have seen villain squeeze a few times in the past then I push

Also generally in a 3bet pot I am happy to get it all-in with TPTK with AK. Here though I'm not liking that flop too much. The problem and what I'm hating is that Q. What could he have here that 3bet me pre and then led flop for almost pot and pushed turn for about pot:

I'm thinking AA,KK,QQ,JJ,TT,AK,AQ,KQ,KJ, random bluff like I guess. Some of these are obviously more likely than others, but I'm not beating many of them (especially the obvious ones). And he's showing a lot of aggression.

As played I think we are either on a split or way behind against AA, QQ, KK can't see villian having a hand we beat here.
