Senate Democrat (South Dakota) Suffers Stroke
No details known yet, but the governor of the state is Republican, and presumably would appoint a Republican to replace him (if he can't return), giving the Senate to the Republicans.

The guy's name (I assume) is Tim Johnson. Nothing about this on CNN, Fox, Google News or Drudge yet. (Can you tell I'm worried?)

NYT article:
"Johnson had become disoriented during a call with reporters, stuttering in response to a question. He appeared to recover, asking if there were any additional questions and then signing off." Doesn't sound "major", but you never know.
