Default WSOPC Lake Tahoe

I know on the WSOP website, the Circuit event at Harvey's has not been posted yet; if anyone needs the info here it is:
https://www.harrahs.com/images/non_i...SOPNov2007.pdf
It is at the Harvey's website.

Those dates blow. The roads over the mountains will be icy at night and early morning.

I played in a side event and satellites last year. The name pros don't show up because the main event is only a $5000 buy-in. The only person I recognized was the jingly vest guy from the WSOP, Ricky something, who is a Bay area or Sacramento local(plays very loose imo, but gets lucky a lot).

The fields are big enough to provide a decent prize pool, but it's not lottery ticket sized like the WSOP or WPT events. As for the skill level, I'm biased because I got knocked out by a guy that called my pre-flop raise out of position with 8 5 offsuit.

Back when it was a 10K buyin and still televized by ESPN (first year), yes, they did.

I might try to go again this year. Which casino has the nicest rooms/beds in Tahoe?

edit: also, the event with the ivey/lisandro finish took place in May.

The old Caesars is now Montblue. Probably the "hippest" casino in town, but the rooms are dated. Actually, most of South Lake Tahoe is dated. I would actually lean toward the Embassy Suites that is right next door. It is new, and well kept. Now, that is if I was looking for something that wasn't 70's ish. Then, I would probably take MontBleu over Harrah's over Harvey's. But, expect somoething along the lines of Flamingo at best. Tahoe is beautiful...but it ain't the Bellagio. And, if you are at all into sightseeing, I suggest flying into Sacramento as opposed to Reno. Probably twice as far (1 vs 2 hrs) but the drive in the day time is just magnificent.

Just my $0.02.
