Event # 3 at the wsop. 1500 Pot limit holdem event blinds are 25/50 I have about 2 k and villain covers


utg limps, I limp utg+1 with 99, mid position limps, button limps sb completes and bb checks.

6 players take flop 300 in the pot.

flop comes K 10 9 2 hearts.

utg check I bet 200 button calls utg calls.

3 players take turn 900 in the pot.

3 clubs

utg checks I bet 600 button pushes utg folds.


No read on button but everyone was playing pretty tight.

I'm not sure what the action amounts to here but I remember i was getting around 2.3 to 1 on a river call.

As soon as he raised I was like ok he has a straight. But then I started thinking that he would probably raise a straight on the flop because of the flushdraw with a bunch of players left to act behind him.

I had trouble believing that he didnt raise a straight on the flop but K 10 wtf does not raise this on the flop ?

Anyways someone smack some sense into me with a range for the guy if this is an instacall please.

It's pot limit, why are you not betting 300 on the flop?
