I don't remember the exact time situation, but did Reid do something stupid again? [/ QUOTE ] I'm pretty certain the very next play, they threw on first down and Dunavin was sacked. 3-8-PHI44 (3:17) (Shotgun) D.McNabb scrambles left end ran ob at CHI 47 for 9 yards (T.Harris). 1-10-CHI47 (3:08) D.McNabb sacked at 50 for -3 yards (A.Archuleta). |

Brian Dawkins would never have let Mushin Muhammad catch that. Considine also at a terrible missed tackle vs berrain that gave him like 25 extra yards.

This franchise needs to blow this team up. McNabb will get cut at the end of the year then the Kolb era begins. This was a must win though, and I am extremely pissed off. At least well get a higher draft pick.

While we are second guessing Reid's play calling, anyone else annoyed with this in the second quarter:
3rd and 2 at CHI 14 (4:15) (Shotgun) D.McNabb pass incomplete short left to B.Westbrook [A.Ogunleye]. |

Loved that they called a pass with the ball with around 3:00 to go in the game and Chi had 1 timeout left at that point. At least McNabb got sacked and kept the clock running.
Prevent defense almost the entire last Chi drive was nice to. |

If he had thrown it would have been straight into the ground or off the crappy receivers hands. I am completely done with Reid, he is an idiot. I want this team gone and a whole goddamn new one dammit. |

Re: *Official* Philadelphia E-A-G-L-E-S Thread (2007-2008)
So is it ready for the official let's lose games so we can get a weapon like DeSean Jackson to return kicks/punts/ and play wideout?
This has 7-9 season written all over it. McNabb will be gone. Kolb will be in. As far as youth there seems to be a lot of guys pushing for time in the future. Obviously Westbrook will be around. So will Shawn Andrews, Jamaal Jackson, and Herremans. Throw in Jean-Gilles, Justice, Nick Cole, and the offensive line seems to at least have young players, though I'm not saying they will be good. On the defensive side of the ball Mike Patterson, Bunkley, Ramsey, Abiarmi,Trent Cole, and Juqua Thomas are all young. Throw in young linebackers Chris Gocong, Omar Gaither, and Stewart Bradley and this is at least a start for the future. The defense hasn't played too bad. They just need some freaking weapons. |
