I like pf. I think you played fine postflop. Surely sometimes you'll check AK/AQ/QQ+ here? So he has to be scared of what you have. I think he has JT alot hoping that you have enough to call.

Why did you edit turn action???

I thought the hand was more interesting this way.

In the original action, he shoved, maybe I should just ask the question in the OP

Without a read I like this as your hands only beating a bluff at that point. Preflop is fine too I just make it a bit more.

Turn is definitely fold. You beat NOTHING on the turn Except AJ or AT, which villain would have to be idiot to play it like that preflop and call flop.

even against a super crazy player, i think it's pretty close

the turn card just clobbers any range that was calling for value on the flop. i only beat a float, or some hand that was calling for value on the flop that decided it needed to bluff (JJ/KJ or something?)

yeah, and even the turn bet is pretty questionable, from these hands. they're looking for me to call with... ?

ofc, he could just be like 'omg top pair! gottabet!'

There was a hand posted that looked just like this one a few days ago.
Hero bet called turn and was shown AK I belive.
I belive most agreed that, check fold was the line to take.

yah, i borrowed this hand from that thread because somebody else said that the line you just mentioned was "fine" while I thought it was horrible

i was hoping that there would be more discussion on the hand if I gave it its own thread

i think this is player dependant, against most people however this is a trivial fold. Against some known floaters though your in a tough spot.
