Default Hi team

Hey players---Im new to this forum although I have read mnay posts here at one point or another. I have been playing poker for about 4 years and feel I improve my game every sesssion. I used to live in Connecticut so would play at Foxwoods but I have moved to Lake Tahoe Cali this past year. We have a few poker rooms around (actually very close) and as a tourist town we have a lot of fish and some very fast sharks. I befriended a regular who saw me play a bunch and approached me after a big session ~1500 in a 2-3 game. He told me that my lagtag game should do very well here and he liked the way I play. Over the last year I have done well, not great but well. My question is to you guys feel that this style of play is profitable in the long run or am I missing something? Any comments would be great.

In general, I tend to play hands depending on position (fold a8s IEP but will play 86s in middle to late position) I try to vary my play to keep people thinking as I see many of the regulars alot. I feel that I have good reading skills and am not hesitant to make plays or call hands based on reads and tells. I will also fold strong draws and top pair if I smell something is up. Things like that. I dont know how to post HH so if you have specific questions I can answer them
