Default Standard fold here with overpair on flop? 100NL on FTP

Is this a standard fold with an overpair here? Villian is 17/9 over several orbits and the PF limp/raise immediately makes me think AA or KK. After he pushes on my flop bet is there any chance I'm ahead? Also, what do you think of my flop bet? I figured he could only raise me with a hand that's beating me - I don't think 10/10 or J/J take that PF line or push here.

Well, he can have a big flush draw, but there aren't too many combos of that, so fold is correct.

Your flop lead is horrible though. You get raised by AA/KK and big draws, and let AK get off cheaply.

You also get raised by JJ and TT and lose your weak lead bet anyway as anyone LRRing JJ/TT is raising that flop. But he should have AA/KK here only with those stats he probably at least read Brunson's Supersystem and he limp reraises AA/KK all the time in EP just like Doyle told him too. You can still call that size raise for set value preflop though.

I hate playing vs a limp/rr. I always think they have AA.

So you do what? check/call? if so then what's your plan for the turn?

I call his raise for set value. No set = b/f, set = b/3b

I think it is because they do usually have AA. I like the ones that give me odds to draw at a set.

Especially the limp/rr that is barely over a min 3bet. That is almost always AA
