Default fsdr with 77 on a dry board

same guy as in the post i just made - basically still unknown.

Full Tilt Poker
Limit Holdem Ring game
Limit: $5/$10
6 players
Converter

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
UTG calls, <font color="#cc0000">UTG+1 raises</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero 3-bets</font>, 4 folds, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (8.5SB, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">UTG+1 bets</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5.25BB, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">UTG+1 bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises</font>, UTG+1 calls.

River: 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (9.25BB, 2 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero checks.

Results:
Final pot: 9.25BB

i'm guessing the free showdown raise wasn't the best decision. do we just call down?

against unknown I just call down this. I don't think he'll ever fold a better hand on that board but he may fire with AQ UI. Also I want to see what he raised with pf and fires flop and turn with to get a better read on him for the future.

I would call down as well and make a note of his hand. It would have been difficult now to decide what to do when he would have donked the river. When you have more notes on him this decision would become easier.

I don't see what you gain by raising the turn.
If ahead : you're protecting yourself against 3 or 6 outs. hmmm
If behind : you offer him a 3bet

I'd calldown.
But if he donks the river, I'd fold.

I am curiouss to the situation with hands like AQ and smaller pp`s that missed. I feel I play these wrong alot, with initiativ and/or ip. Would you call down those as well? Would you valuebet 99 on river same action?

You are missing at least one of the conditions for a FSDR. Will he ever fold a weaker hand (88-TT)? I think not.
