Music suggestions please...

Hope this is the right forum. I have not kept up with music over the last few years. I do not listen to much radio and when I do it's usually talk radio/sports. I have downloaded all of my favorites from the past but I am looking for something new for my tastes. Basically waaaaaaaaay out of the loop. I like acoustic w/ 2-4 part harmony type stuff (CSN&Y). But mostly mellow, dreamy type music like "Into Dust"-Mazzy Star; "Song to the Siren"- This Mortal Coil; Indigo Girls(their first album mainly); of course Pink Floyd; Angelo Badalamenti- who does the music for all of Lynch's films; etc. I saw CallMeIshmael's thread in OOT and some suggestions were close but not really what I was looking for. His suggestions were:

1. TV on the Radio - Return to Cookie Mountain
2. The Decemberists - The Crane Wife
3. Thom Yorke - Eraser
4. The Knife - Silent Shout
5. Bonnie "Prince" Billy - The Letting Go
6. Phoenix - It's Never Been Like That

8. Tapes 'n Tapes - The Loon
9. Belle and Sebastian - The Life Pursuit
10. Destroyer - Destroyer's Rubies

Although Amazon did not offer samples for Tapes N Tapes. Band of Horses "I Go To The Barn" and Damien Rice's "Blowers Daughter" are in line with my style.

Meh, I know I am being pretty vague so any suggestions are much appreciated!
