Do you call here against donk?
.5/1NL Cake...no converter.
Hero UTG($98.5) Villain BB(84.5) Villain has been playing w/60bb's and bleeding chips. He plays almost every hand, but recently got lucky on a pot to build his stack a bit. He has shown a strong tendency to slowplay and minbet his big hands and be agg w/ air/weak hands. Hero raises to 4.5 (UTG+1 just posted) K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG. Everybody folds to BB who calls. Flop: Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($10.5) Villain checks. Hero bets $8, villain raises to $16 Villain has done this in the past w/ weak hands. Hero calls. Turn: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($42.5) Villain instapushes $64, hero?

With his monsters he has bet $1 into a $25 pot on a couple of occassions or c/c's and bets river. When I have seen him minraise/checkraise, he has always had a very weak hand like bottom pair and is testing c-bets. I have him noted as Weak=Strong=Weak player and he has bee pretty consistent w/ that note.

You need to check these flops behind. It's a really icky spot to get played back at. We think he can make moves with weaker hands but that read is just not that strong as he can easily have a big one here, so I don't like betting to induce flop bluffs.
He may call a bets with weaker hands on the flop like QJ but he'll call bets with those later in the hand if we check. And by checking we avoid those sticky spots. Also, he sounds like the kind of guy who will bluff at least one street if you check behind.. just that insta "he checked I bet" player. As played you have to fold. Sure, I can see you being good here, but you are drawing dead or thin the far majority of the time.
