Default AK early in Triple shootout

ok.. so i was discussing this hand with someone and we both have completely different views on the hand.
keep in mind this is the 3.30 triple shoootout turbo on stars, so chances/ opportunities for doubleups are thin.

History is guy has opened one hand and was folded back to him.. now obviously, his reraise means strength, but i feel in these tournies, you cannot pass up the fact that his range for that is 1010-QQ maybe AQ and that I am willing to race in these situations where as my friend thinks that i should be folding there and looking for situations where i am AT LEAST 65-35 or 80-20 and that i shouldn't gamble that early on just a "drawing hand"

now lets stay away from being results orientated.. but what are some thoguhts..

First, please use a hand converter. Second, if you don't want results oriented posts then don't post results.

As played I don't think that its played poorly. If you were willing to flip early like this then it is definitely the right shove. I agree that in a $3 TS in the first stage that is range is probably 77+, KJ+, AT+ in which case you have most of his range dominated and this is the correct move. Obv looking at the results even that range is a little too tight since he did show JTo.

All in all I think well played just a tough beat IMO.

this is a triple shootout, which means you must win all the chips, three times! Passing up any +ev play, is terrible in tournaments like this. You have to get all the chips, and you do that by making every correct play you can. I am 4 bet shoving with AQs, and 88+ fyi. So don't be results oriented, and tell them to ship the sklansky bucks
