Back to the Future signup and discussion
This is one of my favourite movie series and I want to run a werewolf game themed around it.
Not sure when it will run. I'll have all kinds of family stuff around Christmas, and I assume most of you will too. And CPFB is running a game first on USG. So it will likely be after Christmas. Also I could run it here or on USG. I'd like to get 19-30 players. There will be lots of cool roles though not a full mish mash. I'll try to make it balanced. There won't be explicit time travel involving changing previous days votes or bringing people back to life. However the trilogy takes place in four different times (1985, 1955, 2015, 1885) and there will be some characters who can only interact with characters from their same time. I've made a full list of roles but won't be posting it here because I don't know exactly what I will reveal about them, and they might change. Some likely possibilities: 3 Marty characters (1955, 2015, 1885) and 3 Docs. Each Marty masons with the relevant Doc. Lorraine (1955) - convertible villager if Biff finds her before George does. Terrorist (1985) - who wins with the evils but doesn't know the evils, they don't know him. Can suicide bomb one player during day. If he targets Doc, all Docs die. As said this won't start for a good while but I'd like to gauge interest. |

Re: Back to the Future signup and discussion
any particular reason why?
there's definitely going to be a Marvin Berry character, maybe he will be a neutral. There's also one or two other possibilities. |

Sounds really good. I agree with monk that neutrals will be a good idea. More complex gameplay and more stuff to figure out.

Re: Back to the Future signup and discussion
I would cut down the masonries to 1 unless you dont plan on adding a seer. I think when it comes to WW in general the ability for villagers to work together outside the game and to confirm each other is more powerful than people realize. 6 confirmable villagers + some seer peeks + villagers being able to put their heads together without doubt = gg.

Re: Back to the Future signup and discussion
you're probably right. I definitely don't want a game where 6 people can role claim and start confirming each other. That was part of the idea behind the Terrorist role being able to kill all the Docs if one of them claimed.

Re: Back to the Future signup and discussion
This would probably be my first WW game. Interested, but since there's time until it starts, I would need one of ya to take me through a better understanding.
Surfing threads heavily to get a grasp, so. Definitely interested. |

Re: Back to the Future signup and discussion
I agree with GT1T on the power of masonries. If you plan on having a large number of masons (Zurv had 5 of them in Simpsons and it was strong for the village), then you should also have ways for the masons to team up with evils and not know it. Or, at least something to offset the power of confirmation.
IN by the way. |

Re: Back to the Future signup and discussion
Was there a Doc in 2015? Or do you mean the 1985 version in 2015?
Is there going to be some version of the "Don't contact your future/past self" rule for the characters who have multiple selves in game? IN |
