When the Harrah's [censored] bumped their rake up to the ridiculous amount of $5 it was widely believed that most other casinos in Vegas would soon follow suit. Does anybody have any news on any non-Harrah's properties that have also boosted their rake?
I ask because I'm going on out there on Monday and want to know which places to avoid.

The Palms recently dropped their max rake from $4 to $3 on all games. [/ QUOTE ] That's a switch. I've never heard of a casino droping it's rake. Is Gene still the poker room manager there?

[/ QUOTE ] No poker room manager at all. An "announcement" was expected to be made last week or this week regarding the manager situation. Gene left awhile ago, not sure exactly when.
