Default For Schneids

I was talking with a few other mid/high shorthanded players...

To what would you attribute becoming such a winner at poker?
2 things really.. A: winning a lot and B: being good... How do you do both of these things?

These are serious questions.

To what specific things would you attribute your great success?

I haven't played a great deal with Schneids, but one thing I think he does an excellent job of is accurately assessing his opponent's hand range and playing accordingly. Once in a great while I've seen him be wrong and look like a donkey. But much more often than not, the result is that he either gets the absolute maximum value out of his hands (Vs. his opponent's range), or wins pots he shouldn't have (or at least I wouldn't have), won. I'm sure there are many other things he does well, but this is what stands out to me.

his greatest strength is his ability to identify profitable staking deals and to screw his stakees out of as much money as possible

Uhmmm...the best player in the world needs staking? Or is Schneids simply taking advantage of an excellent investment opportunity?
