Re: Flop trips after reraising pf with AK.
[ QUOTE ]
As aplunk says, there's probably not much that's paying us off but I think the way ahead is to consider how we play our whole reraising range here, with these stacks. Or at least, how we'd be expected to play it. So, how do you play AA? How do most people play KK/AK? How do we play AQ, TT-QQ or air? [/ QUOTE ] c-bet around halfpot seems standard. He if he calls that much of his stack pf he will probably stack of with many pairs on flops like this. otherwise if we had a smaller stack the slight overbet push is also funny. |

Re: Flop trips after reraising pf with AK.
i think SAYGN has a creative way of playing the hand. this would be a good spot for a bet check bet sequence.

Re: Flop trips after reraising pf with AK.
A minbet would telegraph exactly what you have. Never minbet.
I like the bet of 2000 on the flop. Not much more you can do here. |

i almost never check after a 3bet (esp not h-up), leak? [/ QUOTE ] If you have AA or QQ on this flop, what do you gain by betting? What hands call you? Only opponents who like to play lost poker with their small pairs will call you on this flop. Otherwise, the villain has a K and you are in big trouble. If there is no reason to bet those flops with those hands, there is no reason to bet with AK here either. |

I would contend that we're epxected to check AA and a K and that this part of our range is never folding. What else do we reraise OOP and how do we play that on the flop. TT-QQ, AQs and air, for example? |
